"Carving plaster" is also called as "carving lacquer" or "large carving and filling". Carving plaster is carving on the layers of lacquer and putty, which has special requirements on the layer of plaster. The plaster layer should thick and just tough with mercy. After painting lacquer, pushing pattern on the body of lacquerware, and then using techniques of sketching, carve, peel, rising, shovel, pick, scratch, pile-up etc, to carve out lines of harmony and fine; finally add power, color and firm the color. The important points for carving plaster is that first, the image should be accurate, no loss and rise; second the surface should flat; third, there should no brick; fourth the color filling should fine and full.
